Service Technician – Cadence Creek at Towne Lake

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its Cadence Creek at Towne Lake community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established safety and risk‑management policies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Good organizational skills for scheduling vendors and managing inventory.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment, and work outdoors.
