Service Technician – Avana Springs

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. The role works a Wednesday‑Sunday schedule (9 am‑6 pm) with required weekend availability.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑initiated work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, generate punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies, perform maintenance, and verify completed work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests, work performed, and related paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Assist with the upkeep of grounds, common areas, and amenities.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC and appliance repair is preferred.
• Comfortable using property management software to handle work orders, inspections, and daily maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work weekends and follow a Wednesday‑Sunday schedule.
