Service Technician – Accolade Auburn (Student Living)

About the role

The Service Technician for Accolade Auburn will ensure that the student living community’s buildings, grounds, and amenities are clean, safe, and fully functional. This hands‑on position supports Greystar’s commitment to high‑quality residential environments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, track usage, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and compliance.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Participate in safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a residential environment and interact with residents and vendors.
• Commitment to following safety and risk‑management procedures.
