Service Supervisor – The Alyssa

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose mechanical or technical problems and perform repairs safely.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready operations and coordinating with external vendors.
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting work quality and maintaining property standards.
• Ability to manage inventory and order supplies while adhering to budget constraints.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, team members and management.
