Service Supervisor – Property Maintenance

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common spaces, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position is based at The Dylan property in Portland, Oregon.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies and code requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, conducting pre‑move‑out inspections, generating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Maintain routine upkeep of the community, ensuring all mechanical and technical systems operate correctly.
• Order and manage supplies and materials needed for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multifamily residential settings.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage vendor relationships.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and internal teams.

Required skills

• Technical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and maintenance best practices.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software to track work orders.
