Service Supervisor for Residential Community

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the Avana Gilbert community meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities to keep the property operating smoothly for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality and scope requirements.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in Greystar’s policies.
• Assist the Community Manager with ongoing property upkeep and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical or technical defects and implement effective repairs.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal teams to complete maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s operational procedures.
• Attention to detail for inspections and quality assurance.
• Budget‑aware mindset for inventory and supply management.
