Service Operations Manager

About the role

The Service Operations Manager will lead all operational activities for A-Core Concrete Specialists' Bozeman, Montana branch. This position ensures that concrete cutting projects are assigned, dispatched, and completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating both field crews and office staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate concrete cutting projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
• Schedule field crews, equipment, and materials, optimizing workforce deployment while respecting budget constraints.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, conduct site safety audits, and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Track project costs, review invoices, and adjust budgets to protect profitability.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and timely delivery of supplies to job sites.
• Identify service delivery inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and use data analytics for continuous improvement.
• Coach and train field supervisors and crews, develop performance plans, and support employee retention.

Required profile

• Critical thinker with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in construction or industrial services, preferably concrete cutting or demolition.
• Deep understanding of construction procedures, project management, safety regulations, and logistics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening.
