Service Material Handler

About the role

The Service Material Handler ensures smooth receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of materials to support production and customer orders. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling inventory tasks, SAP transactions, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, open boxes, crates, and containers.
• Inspect freight for damage and accuracy, unpack and store items.
• Pick parts and pre‑package orders according to customer requirements.
• Pack and ship products using the UPS system.
• Assemble parts kits and package them for production.
• Perform SAP transactions and assist with periodic inventories.
• Maintain and improve 5S standards and material flow processes.
• Work overtime as needed, often with short notice.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.
