Service Manager – Pest Control Services

About the role

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our pest‑control service department in the Silver Spring area. The role involves overseeing technicians, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, and managing inventory and equipment to support our fast‑growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the entire service department, including training, scheduling, performance appraisal and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate and perform initial services, follow‑ups, wildlife services, drop‑ins and inspections.
• Manage service orders, assess technician performance and step in to perform services when needed.
• Oversee truck and tool maintenance, inventory distribution, supply requests and expense tracking.
• Conduct field inspections, safety evacuations and emergency responses.
• Prepare departmental reports for the General Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and procedure documents.
• Strong written communication for routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication with customers and staff.
• Comfortable working in a diverse, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Inventory management and distribution.
• Truck and equipment maintenance oversight.
• Review of uniforms, gas usage and expense reports.
