Service Innovation Engineer

About the role

Drive service innovation for superconducting MRI magnets by leading serviceability improvements, technical investigations, and cross‑functional project execution to enhance equipment performance and field service outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to service innovation initiatives for superconducting MRI magnets, improving serviceability, reliability, and preventative service delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (field service, engineering, quality, product development, service operations) to evaluate concepts, support change projects, and implement practical solutions.
• Act as subject matter expert for MRI magnet service, providing consultative guidance, technical investigation support, and knowledge sharing across projects and peer groups.
• Support Modified Launch Design and new product introduction activities, including service requirements, verification and validation planning, test design, and service bill of material considerations.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience supporting field service operations or new product development, preferably with MRI magnets; experience as an FSE/MPM related to magnets preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or biomedical engineering.
• Ability to meet the physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting, service innovation, test design, data analysis and interpretation, feasibility analysis, quality assurance, technical writing, continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with tools such as InCenter, ServiceMax, Trackwise (not mandatory).

• Base salary range $93,500 – $112,500 per year, with potential annual incentive bonus and long‑term incentives.
