Server – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club, part of Discovery Land Company, is looking for a dedicated Server to join its Food and Beverage Service Department. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for members and guests, ensuring high standards of service, menu knowledge, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to requests.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and beverage pairings.
• Enter all transactions accurately into the POS system, issue checks, and close sales according to policy.
• Verify food orders for completeness and accuracy, paying special attention to allergies.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in the service area.
• Complete opening and closing duties, conduct inventory, and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Adhere to all government, health, safety, and security regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of serving experience in a full‑service, fast‑paced, high‑end restaurant, club, or resort.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and ability to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point‑of‑Sale) systems.
• ServSafe certification or familiarity.
• HACCP knowledge.
• Understanding of wine, cocktail, and beverage pairings.
