Server Assistant (Fine Dining)

About the role

The Server Assistant supports Food Servers in delivering a seamless dining experience at Nobu, a high‑volume fine‑dining restaurant. You will ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset, while maintaining stock and cleanliness throughout the service floor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Food Servers with food and beverage service, including delivering dishes and refilling drinks.
• Clear tables, scrape dishes, and polish glassware between courses.
• Set, change, and reset table linens and glassware before and after each shift.
• Monitor and replenish stock items, side stations, and beverage stations.
• Inspect incoming food and beverage items for quality and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, debris‑free work environment and move tables to accommodate reservations.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to six) safely without trays.
• Complete special assignments from management as needed.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in a high‑volume, fine‑dining or high‑traffic restaurant environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and responsive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Physically fit to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and carry dishes for extended periods.
• Proficient in reading and writing English.
