SEO/GEO Strategist

About the role

Three29 is seeking an SEO/GEO Strategist to join its growing digital marketing team. You will work across a portfolio of clients in construction, SaaS, law and financial services, shaping and executing strategies that boost organic visibility and drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine technical, local, on‑page and content SEO strategies for multiple client accounts.
• Implement GEO tactics that enhance visibility in AI‑generated search experiences.
• Conduct technical site audits and competitor analyses, delivering clear, prioritized recommendations.
• Optimize user journeys by improving site structure, content organization and page experience.
• Make WordPress updates and SEO/GEO improvements directly on live sites.
• Monitor performance using RankMath, SEMrush, Google Analytics and Search Console, reporting insights and opportunities.
• Collaborate with GEO Lead, designers, developers and content creators to deliver high‑quality projects.
• Execute off‑site initiatives such as digital PR, entity optimization, local listings and authority‑building campaigns.
• Stay current with algorithm updates, AI search trends and emerging best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record of moving rankings – be ready to share examples.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Self‑starter who enjoys problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
