SEO/GEO Lead

About the role

Harvey is looking for its first dedicated SEO/GEO Lead to own and expand the company’s visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI answer layers. This high‑ownership individual contributor role will shape the organic search and AI‑driven answer strategy, working closely with content, product marketing, engineering, and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive SEO roadmap for harvey.ai and all web properties, balancing quick wins with long‑term investments.
• Build and maintain an SEO playbook, including processes, templates, and guardrails to scale content production without compromising quality.
• Own the SEO‑driven content calendar in partnership with content, product marketing, and engineering, covering the full buyer journey.
• Develop and implement an AEO/GEO strategy to ensure Harvey is cited and surfaced in AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Ensure entity consistency across web properties and optimize content for extractability by AI models.
• Collaborate with thought‑leadership teams to grow earned LLM citations and mentions.
• Build monitoring infrastructure to track Harvey’s presence and accuracy in AI‑generated answers across major platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO initiatives with measurable impact.
• Deep understanding of both traditional SEO and emerging AI answer engine optimization (GEO/AEO).
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, able to partner with content, product, engineering, and data teams.
• Self‑starter with a high sense of ownership and the ability to define strategy and execute independently.
