Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Interactives)

About the role
Brilliant is looking for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to join the Interactives team. You will help build the core building blocks that power our interactive, adaptive learning experiences used by hundreds of thousands of paid subscribers.
Key responsibilities
- Craft new interactive building blocks that power Brilliant's learning experiences.
- Collaborate with product, design, and content colleagues in small, elite cross‑functional teams.
- Work with APIs that support learning designers, an LLM‑powered content agent, and an AI tutor to ensure every configuration is a correct, solvable, and meaningful puzzle.
Required profile
- Strong software engineering background with experience building complex, scalable systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑trust environment and contribute to a culture of adventure, excellence, generosity, and candor.
