Senior Zone Director

About the role

The Senior Zone Director leads the performance of Heineken USA’s portfolio across strategically important markets. This regional leadership position aligns national brand planning with local market opportunities and drives the achievement of volume, profit, and share objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and provide feedback to a team of direct reports through regular meetings and career development planning.
• Apply Heineken USA processes to build high‑performing teams and enforce performance‑management rigor.
• Support distributor managers in annual and monthly business objective planning.
• Oversee distributor performance reviews, gap‑closing measures, and zone‑wide goals for volume, profit, and share.
• Collaborate with retail teams to ensure excellent outlet execution and alignment of brand planning with market opportunities.
• Coordinate activities between National Accounts and zone distributors to maximize programming efficacy.
• Manage sponsorship activation to deliver value for Heineken USA and partners.
• Hold teams and distributors accountable for distribution metrics, depletions, and key performance indicators.
• Lead zone‑level financial administration, including pricing, budgeting, P&L, invoicing, and supply‑chain management.
• Drive the monthly S&OP process, mid‑month forecasting, and strategic planning of programs and product launches.
• Develop senior‑level relationships with distributors and internal leaders to negotiate and influence activation plans.
• Participate as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team and collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, finance, operations, and legal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8‑10 years of relevant experience in sales and people leadership.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering business results.
