Senior Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Senior Vice President of Operations will report directly to the CEO and own operational performance across multiple regions for a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed facilities management firm in Florida. This executive will drive service excellence, client satisfaction, and financial results while shaping the company’s long‑term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all operational functions and set performance targets.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing regional operations leadership team.
• Ensure operational excellence, service quality, and client satisfaction across a national portfolio.
• Deliver margin improvement, financial performance, and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with Sales and Executive Leadership to support growth and client retention.
• Lead integration of acquired businesses and develop scalable processes, systems, and governance.
• Create succession plans and develop leadership capability throughout the organisation.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive executive leadership experience in Facilities Management, Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), Technical Services or Business Services.
• Proven track record managing large, multi‑site operational teams across the United States.
• Experience overseeing complex service delivery contracts and national client portfolios.
• Strong commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
• Experience in a private‑equity backed environment is highly desirable.
• Collaborative leadership style with ability to influence at Board and Executive level.
• Passion for developing people and building high‑performing teams.
