Senior Vice President, Growth

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Growth will lead KIPP’s network‑wide growth strategy, shaping how new schools and expanded regions are identified, evaluated, and launched. Reporting to senior leadership, this executive partner will ensure that every expansion decision is grounded in rigorous evidence and aligns with KIPP’s mission to deliver excellent outcomes for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision, goals, and strategic roadmap for KIPP’s growth function across the national network.
• Develop and maintain criteria and readiness frameworks that determine where and when new schools or regional expansions should occur.
• Create and oversee a long‑term portfolio plan that balances innovation, scalability, and impact.
• Hold the organization accountable for growth outcomes by establishing metrics, monitoring progress, and driving data‑informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including operations, finance, and instructional leadership—to ensure alignment and resource readiness for each growth initiative.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading growth, expansion, or strategic planning initiatives in large, mission‑driven organizations.
• Strong track record of using evidence‑based frameworks to guide large‑scale decisions.
• Exceptional ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders around a common vision.
• Commitment to educational equity and the KIPP mission.
