Senior UX/UI Designer

About the role

Rhoda AI is building generalist intelligent robots and needs a Senior UX/UI Designer to shape the digital interfaces that operators, customers, and internal teams use to interact with these robots in real‑world deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design UX and UI for human‑machine interfaces that enable operating, monitoring, and interacting with robots in complex environments.
• Create fleet status and management dashboards that display real‑time system health, task progress, and operational state across large robot deployments.
• Own the full design process from ideation and wireframes to high‑fidelity visual design and handoff to development.
• Develop user journeys and flows, identifying pain points, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations to ensure designs are technically feasible and shippable.
• Build and maintain a visual design system and set standards for product design at Rhoda.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience designing complex, real‑time interfaces that connect to physical hardware.
• Strong visual design sense with attention to typography, color, spacing, and detail.
• Ability to think through multi‑step user flows, edge cases, and error states in high‑stakes environments.
• Self‑directed with excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma.
• Experience using Claude Design or similar modern design tooling.
