Senior UX Researcher – Patient (Remote)

About the role

Rula is seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher to lead research on the patient journey, from first discovering mental healthcare to booking and attending a session. The role is fully remote and works closely with product, design, data, and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute end‑to‑end qualitative, quantitative, and mixed‑methods research studies focused on acquisition, onboarding, activation, and conversion.
• Translate patient insights and behavioral data into actionable recommendations that shape product roadmaps and prioritize features.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure research findings influence product decisions without direct authority.
• Maintain a longitudinal measurement program to track trust, satisfaction, and overall experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of UX research experience with a proven ability to own a research program from problem framing to synthesis.
• Demonstrated impact on product funnels such as acquisition, onboarding, or conversion.
• Strong strategic framing skills to turn ambiguous business questions into decision‑oriented research plans.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expertise in qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing, ethnography).
• Expertise in quantitative methods (surveys, analytics, statistical analysis).
• Ability to balance methodological rigor with speed to deliver high‑quality insights quickly.
