Senior Utility Project Associate

About the role

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Senior Utility Project Associate to lead the delivery of power and water infrastructure for hyperscale data center sites. The role involves coordinating with utilities, customers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and meet sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute implementation of medium and high voltage power, water, and wastewater projects for data center locations.
• Manage multiple utilities and contractors from agreement through in‑service and handoff to operations.
• Develop creative bridging solutions with utility partners for last‑mile distribution.
• Partner with customers to integrate renewable and carbon‑free technologies.
• Coordinate communication and deliverables between utility partners and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years managing technical infrastructure projects in data center, water, or energy sectors.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for meetings and site visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Technical expertise in electric transmission and distribution infrastructure.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment planning, engineering, and operations.
