Senior Treasury Analyst – Capital Management

About the role

Santander is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to support capital planning and risk‑weighted asset (RWA) forecasting. The role works closely with finance partners to drive accurate capital generation forecasts under US GAAP and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Support US GAAP and IFRS capital and RWA forecasting, including monthly, quarterly and year‑end forecasts.
• Monitor key financial ratios and investigate drivers of capital changes using large data sets and SQL.
• Validate accuracy of internal financial and operational reporting.
• Perform variance, reconciliation and forecasting analysis of key financial data.
• Execute day‑to‑day management processes and ensure adherence to risk limits and standards.
• Report on SOX controls and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Perform required accounting entries and ensure treasury policies are followed.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of financial planning, analysis or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in capital management.
• Fluent English.
