About the role
The Technical Configuration Management (TCM) function ensures product configuration accuracy, consistency and traceability across the business unit. This senior role acts as the key liaison between Sales/Account teams and internal stakeholders, supporting customer‑facing configuration interactions and maintaining configuration integrity throughout the order lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product configurations in alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.
- Serve as the primary interface for Sales/Account Teams for configuration requests and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Line Management, Engineering, Manufacturing and Business Management to validate and maintain accurate customer order configurations.
- Support configuration‑related project activities, including planning, tracking and execution of configuration freezes and validations.
- Participate in New Product Integration (NPI) and Continuous Improvement Processes to ensure configuration readiness and consistency.
Required profile
- Solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, systems or process engineering with experience in semiconductor equipment design, manufacturing, field installation or maintenance.
- More than seven years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment industry, combining technical depth and operational execution.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage shifting priorities and deliver time‑sensitive results.
- Experience collaborating across matrixed, cross‑regional organizations and supporting customer‑facing teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency with configuration management tools and processes (Product Architecture, BOM management, Engineering change management).
- Technical project management skills, including planning, tracking and executing configuration milestones.
- Ability to manage complex configuration histories and ensure traceability across multiple product revisions.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
