Senior Systems Analyst

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join a global team of innovative professionals. In this role you will help design, enhance, and maintain systems that support regulatory compliance across Environmental Health & Safety, Product Stewardship, and Research & Development. You will work closely with compliance experts, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve and sustain compliance‑related systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
• Drive system upgrades, configuration changes, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and user readiness.
• Prioritise and handle user requests for system enhancements and functionality improvements.
• Analyse system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Partner with IT to support system integrations, data flows, testing, and release activities.
• Work with external vendors on software enhancements and upgrades.
• Stay current on industry best practices for compliance systems and application support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed before start date).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, systems support, systems analysis, or application management in private, public, government, or military environments.
• Proven experience supporting business systems, including troubleshooting, delivering enhancements, and coordinating across functions.
