Senior Systems Administrator – Hybrid – NYC

About the role

We are a growing Managed Services Provider seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our technical team. You will support a diverse portfolio of small and mid‑size businesses across the New York metropolitan area, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure across multiple client environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and Hyper‑V platforms.
• Deploy and support networking infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
• Perform end‑to‑end troubleshooting across servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain security best practices, documentation, and change‑management processes.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Windows Systems Administration experience.
• 5+ years supporting networking technologies in enterprise or managed‑services environments.
• 3+ years of Microsoft 365 administration.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Proactive attitude with a passion for learning new technologies.
