Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Solidroad is building AI‑powered tools to scale customer support while preserving human empathy. As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a small, in‑person team in San Francisco and help shape the technical direction of a fast‑moving product.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of advanced prompt‑engineering and retrieval pipelines.
• Architect and build scalable solutions that handle thousands of daily customer conversations across Zendesk, Intercom and Salesforce.
• Design real‑time multimodal simulations using OpenAI, ElevenLabs and Vapi for voice, video and chat training experiences.
• Set the technical standard for high‑performance, lightning‑fast user interfaces built with Next.js.
• Make critical decisions about architecture, tooling and product direction while mentoring teammates.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience, preferably at a Series A‑C startup.
• Senior‑level expertise in full‑stack development and AI integrations.
• Proven ability to own major product components and drive technical decisions.
• Comfortable working onsite five days a week in a collaborative environment.
