Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Invesco’s Investment Technology team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal platforms that power investment data and services. You will work on cloud‑native solutions, collaborate across architecture, product, and security groups, and help shape the future of AI‑enabled software within a global financial firm.

Key responsibilities

• Implement architectural and functional vision for internal applications, platforms, and enterprise services.
• Design and develop processes, applications, and services that meet business requirements for the Investment Technology domain.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, product, infrastructure, and security teams to align capabilities with enterprise goals.
• Build AWS cloud‑based solutions following best‑practice patterns.
• Apply DevSecOps practices and drive CI/CD maturity using modern tooling.

Required profile

• Strong technical depth with a strategic mindset for scalable software development.
• Experience delivering secure, developer‑friendly solutions in a large‑scale enterprise environment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and contribute to both foundational platform work and innovative initiatives.
