Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Automation & AI Orchestration

About the role

Airbus’s Skywise unit is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive the evolution of its Software Factory. You will bridge traditional full‑stack development with AI‑assisted coding, shaping pipelines, tools, and architecture in a cloud‑native, micro‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines with automated merge‑request checks that combine deterministic logic and AI agents.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI tools, deciding when to use simple scripts versus agentic workflows and large language models.
• Integrate AI coding assistants and generative AI tools into daily development to improve productivity.
• Develop and extend .NET (C#) backend services and Vue.js front‑end components, ensuring seamless interaction with AI and automation layers.
• Provide technical direction, mentor team members, and act as the domain expert for AI‑driven automation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level full‑stack engineer with strong experience in both backend and frontend development.
• Proven ability to lead automation initiatives and guide AI integration projects.
• Comfortable working in a cloud‑native, micro‑services architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
