Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Consumer Engineering)

About the role

Affirm is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to join its Consumer Growth Experience Engineering team. You will help shape high‑impact consumer journeys across mobile and web, turning growth strategy into measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals, guiding engineers through ambiguous, open‑ended problems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to define requirements, articulate technical constraints, and balance risks.
• Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Maintain operational health of team artifacts, create metrics, and support on‑call duties.
• Promote a culture of quality by establishing code‑review and design standards and sharing knowledge through talks.
• Mentor and develop talent by providing feedback and leading by example.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven leadership on large‑scale mobile initiatives, including architecture definition and cross‑functional launches.
• Experience bridging React Native with native iOS/Android (Swift/Kotlin) and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Track record of implementing experimentation, feature‑flagging, and analytics instrumentation in mobile apps.
• Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
