Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Agentic AI)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the next generation of AI‑driven telemetry analysis tools. In this product‑focused role you will own the user‑facing experience of Sift Agents, an AI assistant that helps hardware engineers review massive data streams quickly and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to translate real‑world review workflows into agent capabilities, including dashboards and analysis scripts.
• Design and implement the frontend surfaces where Sift Agents operate, ensuring a polished, responsive UI.
• Define interaction patterns for agentic UX such as streaming responses, long‑running tasks, interruptions, and transparent visualisation of the agent’s reasoning.
• Render large‑scale telemetry alongside AI findings while maintaining high performance.
• Push browser limits using Web Workers, OPFS‑backed caching, and, when necessary, custom solutions beyond React.
• Contribute to a shared component library to keep agentic UI patterns consistent.
• Collaborate with backend and full‑stack engineers on API design that powers agent sessions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Passion for product ownership: interacting with customers, defining features, and shipping them end‑to‑end.
• Proven track record building complex, high‑performance web applications.
• Strong eye for detail, able to spot micro‑interactions, latency issues, and frame‑rate drops.
• Curiosity about emerging agentic AI technologies.
