Senior Software Engineer – Embedded Systems

About the role

Bosch Mobility Aftermarket is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop cutting‑edge software for its automotive service solutions. You will work on embedded devices and diagnostic tools that support both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software using C++, C#, Java, and Android technologies.
• Contribute to software architecture and design for new products.
• Participate in design and code reviews, following best‑practice development processes.
• Provide system‑wide troubleshooting, production support, and hardware board bring‑up.
• Develop device drivers, automated builds, and support embedded Linux/Android platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software development experience in a production environment.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with C++, C#, and/or Java.
• Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments in a manufacturing setting.
