Senior Software Engineer – Backend

About the role

Veza is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core backend services that power its AI‑native Access Graph platform. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance, secure, and scalable solutions for enterprise identity security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and security experts to build features that meet business and security requirements.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities to provide visibility and regulatory compliance.
• Continuously optimize platform performance, security, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them to drive innovation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in enterprise‑grade distributed systems.
• Experience with AI development tools and a deep understanding of software design principles.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and caching mechanisms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
