Senior Software Engineer, App Platform

About the role

Applied Intuition is building the digital infrastructure that powers physical AI across automotive, defense, and industrial sectors. As a Senior Software Engineer on the App Platform team, you will design and maintain the backend services that enable secure, scalable application deployment and API delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure backend platform infrastructure, including authentication, authorization, and API services.
• Build and optimize distributed systems that support rapid application development and deployment.
• Architect plugin systems and extensibility frameworks to extend platform capabilities.
• Create and manage cross‑platform desktop application infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Implement observability solutions such as logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve bottlenecks, and participate in on‑call rotations and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building secure, scalable backend services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers.
