Senior SMA Business Manager

About the role

The Senior SMA Business Manager will lead the growth and evolution of Invesco’s Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) platform. Reporting to the COO of Invesco Managed Accounts, you will drive strategic initiatives, partner with investment, technology and operations teams, and deliver technology‑driven enhancements that improve scale and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, manage and execute high‑impact initiatives across the SMA platform, including new product launches and system implementations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on business development, platform placements and custodian onboarding.
• Define technical and functional requirements to enhance processes, infrastructure and operational frameworks.
• Engage external vendors for contracting, scoping and delivery of custom solutions.
• Represent business needs to internal partners such as Investment Technology and Front‑Office teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a collaborative environment within financial services or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and a structured, organized approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrated capability to prioritize and execute cross‑departmental initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
