Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Business Operations team. The SRE will ensure the stability and health of Mastercard’s production platforms, enabling developers to deliver secure, scalable digital payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality, secure, scalable software solutions.
• Support cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake, adhering to industry standards.
• Build and enforce governance frameworks for cloud data storage and usage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams, including developers and product owners.
• Drive operational design, automation, capacity planning and monitoring to create fault‑tolerant services.
• Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning and feature sizing.

Required profile

• Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and production‑grade reliability engineering.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
