Senior Simulation Engineer (Live‑Virtual‑Constructive)

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Senior Simulation Engineer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) simulation solutions. You will support experimentation, testing, and training of multi‑agent autonomy software for defense applications, balancing fidelity, scale, cost, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document LVC architectures and simulation scenarios.
• Write and maintain interface code, adapters, and translators in C++ and Python.
• Conduct code reviews, debug complex integration issues, and ensure security compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors to incorporate proprietary models.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best coding practices and design patterns.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement of simulation tooling.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in simulation integration, preferably in defense or aerospace.
• Strong software development background with a focus on high‑performance C++ and modern Python.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, in‑office environment.
