Senior Service Technician – Outlook at Pilot Butte

About the role

The Senior Service Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Outlook at Pilot Butte meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This hands‑on role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, perform inspections and follow safety and code regulations.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors to complete make‑ready tasks.
