Senior Security Platform Engineer (IC4)

About the role

OnTrac is looking for a Senior Security Platform Engineer (IC4) to join a high‑impact contractor program supporting a critical customer engagement. The role focuses on backend integrations and policy platform use cases, working remotely with the delivery team and customer stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Golang that interact with MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS‑hosted components.
• Implement integrations and platform features from definition through delivery under the guidance of the customer tech lead and the Staff Security Platform Engineer (IC5).
• Follow the customer’s technical standards, including code review, testing, and deployment practices.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers promptly to the engineering leads and delivery stakeholders.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building backend services and integrations in Golang.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB data modeling and query design.
• Experience loading data into Snowflake and querying it from backend systems.
• Proven ability to deliver well‑scoped work with limited supervision.
