Senior Security Engineer, Business Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join the Information Security Business Engagement team within LexisNexis Legal & Professional. In this role you will act as the security voice for product and engineering teams, ensuring security and trust are built into new features from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed security requirements into new feature design, involving the DPO where privacy considerations arise.
• Build effective working relationships with product and engineering stakeholders, growing credibility and influence over time.
• Collaborate across Information Security to engage the appropriate security teams in new feature design.
• Contribute to customer‑trust materials such as brochures, whitepapers, and knowledge‑base articles, and help transition them to the Customer Engagement team.
• Stay current on how AI reshapes product capabilities and the associated security risks and expectations.

Required profile

• Solid experience operating in a SaaS or cloud‑based product environment with a strong understanding of how security intersects with product design and go‑to‑market.
• Proven ability to work directly with Product and Engineering teams, comfortably raising and defending security concerns.
• Capability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and contribute to outcomes.
• Strong working knowledge of security domains relevant to SaaS platforms (e.g., data protection, identity, application security); security certifications are a plus.
• Genuine curiosity and fluency with emerging AI technologies.
