Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, self‑motivated Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager to join our Central Region team in Texas. You will lead multidisciplinary design teams on highway and roadway projects, ensuring delivery for clients such as HCTRA, TxDOT, and local municipalities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of procured transportation projects, coordinating design staff and client interactions.
• Schedule and run project meetings with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and clients.
• Track man‑hours, costs, and expenses; report progress to senior management.
• Identify new business opportunities and support marketing presentations.
• Participate in opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and qualification statements.
• Negotiate contracts, draft service agreements, and monitor compliance of subcontractors.
• Develop project work plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets; ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience with highway/roadway design.
• Proven project management experience on transportation projects.
• Knowledge of schematic design and PS&E processes.
• Strong technical and interpersonal abilities.
• Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required; DOT experience and PMP certification are a plus.
