Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

Primient is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join its plant engineering team. You will work on a variety of capital projects, improve equipment reliability, and support compliance initiatives across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital projects (>$1 M and <$50 k) by integrating reliability design and maintainability into new equipment and processes.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of site operating processes.
• Facilitate root‑cause analyses (RCAs) and act as equipment subject‑matter expert when needed.
• Contribute to plant‑wide reliability initiatives and long‑term operational stability strategies.
• Understand maintenance department KPIs and drive improvement initiatives.
• Focus on equipment uptime and ensure correct installation of new assets.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and technical support for site projects.
• Support compliance with OSHA, ASME, NFPA, and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic chemical unit operations and Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.
• Experience with chemical processes or production is useful but not essential.
