Senior Regional Construction Scheduler

About the role

The Senior Regional Construction Scheduler will lead schedule management for a portfolio of complex public works and educational facility projects across Southern California. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure schedule integrity, perform critical path analysis, and provide strategic guidance to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze contractor baseline and update schedules using Primavera P6.
• Identify critical path impacts, schedule slippage, and risk factors across multiple projects.
• Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using Windows Analysis methodologies.
• Evaluate entitlement for time extensions based on contract terms and project conditions.
• Develop and maintain program‑level and master schedules.
• Ensure consistency in schedule coding, logic, and reporting standards.
• Provide detailed written schedule review comments and executive‑level reporting.
• Supervise and mentor Project Schedulers.
• Collaborate with OARs, Senior Project Managers, and field teams to resolve schedule issues.
• Attend project meetings and conduct site visits to validate progress and schedule accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of construction scheduling experience for an owner or general contractor, preferably in public works or educational facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities across large programs and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Deep understanding of CPM scheduling, cost engineering, and schedule forensics.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings across civil, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with Time Impact Analysis using Windows Analysis tools.
