Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join its Space and Defense team in Arizona. The role focuses on ensuring product quality from proposal through delivery, supporting design, testing, and supplier activities while maintaining compliance with aerospace standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement proactive quality methodologies to detect and prevent issues.
• Analyze process problems, create solutions, and drive root‑cause corrective actions (RCCA).
• Prepare End Item Data Package (EIDP) reports and manage customer pre‑ship reviews.
• Lead and support Failure Review Boards (FRB) and Material Review Boards (MRB) to address non‑conformances.
• Maintain and improve AS9100 quality system documentation and support external audits.
• Provide operational support for assembly process control and supplier assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role within an electronics lab environment.
• Experience in aerospace/defense contracting, including familiarity with J‑STD and NASA standards.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement.
