Senior Project Manager – Product Business Operations

About the role

Starbucks is seeking a Senior Project Manager to act as a strategic partner and chief of staff to a Category Vice President. You will own the end‑to‑end portfolio management of product development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery across promotional cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead portfolio management for the category, aligning initiatives with enterprise priorities and driving the rhythm of business.
• Own stage‑gate governance, facilitating forums, decision points, and risk visibility across product, supply chain, marketing, finance and operations.
• Synthesize insights and prepare leadership materials to support strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate cross‑functional touchpoints to ensure alignment between category strategy and the broader Menu organization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of comprehensive project management experience covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and integration.
• Experience managing complex large‑scale or multiple mid‑size projects.
• At least 2 years of mentoring other project managers.
• 5+ years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations.
