Senior Project Manager

About the role

Wilkinson Construction Company, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead full‑cycle construction projects from groundbreaking to closeout. You will own all aspects of commercial, institutional, and federal projects, delivering results with direct authority and visibility to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle – preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, owner relations, and final closeout – for projects ranging from $1M to $15M+.
• Select, negotiate, and buy out subcontractors; monitor performance throughout the contract.
• Oversee project budgets, cost reporting, change orders, and owner billing.
• Develop, manage, and recover project schedules; handle RFIs, submittals, and federal compliance (VA, GSA).
• Maintain safety oversight and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
• Prepare closeout documentation, punch‑list execution, and turnover packages for owners.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience in commercial, institutional, or federal construction.
• Proven ground‑up building experience from foundation to certificate of occupancy.
• Working knowledge of Procore and Bluebeam.
• Strong schedule management and cost control abilities.
