Senior Project Manager

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of control‑system solutions for power‑generation plants. You will oversee upgrades and replacements of SCADA, Ovation DCS, turbine controls, CEMS and plant data services, ensuring projects meet technical, financial and client‑satisfaction targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, forecast and manage project execution from initiation through commissioning.
• Coordinate with technical leads, suppliers and clients to meet contractual commitments.
• Apply contract terms, negotiate scope changes and manage cash‑flow, budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, escalating issues when needed.
• Maintain project budgets, review change requests and align work with product backlogs.
• Ensure quality procedures, audit compliance and delivery of high‑quality deliverables.
• Oversee on‑site activities during outages and provide regular status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Scrum Master or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing complex engineering or IT projects in the power‑generation sector.
