Senior Project Manager - Industrial Construction

About the role

Greystar is building an in‑house construction team to manage its growing pipeline of industrial projects in the Mid‑Atlantic region. As a Senior Project Manager you will lead project teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure delivery of high‑quality industrial construction on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Guide projects and teams through all construction phases, overseeing day‑to‑day progress from start‑up to delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve issues, and approve modifications to plans, schedules, staffing, or budgets as needed.
• Promote a safety‑first culture, mentoring team members toward an injury‑free environment.
• Prepare and distribute bid packages, evaluate proposals, negotiate and approve contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Lead value‑engineering and constructability reviews to drive cost efficiencies.
• Manage RFI, submittal, and change‑order processes, ensuring documentation and budgets reflect any project changes.
• Develop and maintain the construction schedule in partnership with the Superintendent, tracking materials and labor availability.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading industrial or commercial construction projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to make timely decisions.
