Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Software Implementation

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead enterprise software implementation projects for nuclear and energy clients, overseeing delivery from planning through close‑out. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute large‑scale software implementation and integration projects for regulated industry clients.
• Define and manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk, proactively mitigating issues to protect delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as primary interface with client executives, aligning business objectives, technical delivery, and contract terms.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, solution development, QA, and client operations.
• Produce and maintain project documentation such as charters, schedules, risk registers, and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with industry protocols, security standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Coach and mentor other Project Managers, advancing PMO maturity and execution excellence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through process optimization, resource forecasting, and PMO reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑million‑dollar enterprise software programs through full lifecycle delivery.
• Background in a major system integrator or enterprise software client services division.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor project managers and to establish governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulated sectors such as nuclear and energy, and with government contracts.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with executive stakeholders.
