Senior Project Executive – General Construction

About the role

The Senior Project Executive will join the leadership team of a respected construction firm, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. This senior position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of large, high‑profile construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategic direction and operational performance for assigned business units.
• Lead large‑scale construction initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Mentor emerging leaders and manage cross‑functional project teams.
• Maintain and grow relationships with high‑profile clients, acting as a trusted partner.
• Oversee P&L, budgets, risk management, contract negotiation and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership of complex projects or business units.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and operational performance at a business‑unit level.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites, client offices, and industry events as needed.
