Senior Project Architect

About the role

Oza Studio, an award‑winning architecture practice on Long Island’s East End, is expanding its team. We are seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead the design and delivery of high‑end custom homes in the Hamptons, working on‑site in Bridgehampton.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects from design development through construction documents and construction administration.
• Lead permitting and approvals with town building departments, architectural review boards, and the Suffolk County Health Department.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and builders.
• Coordinate interiors, finishes, and FF&E to deliver complete homes.
• Produce and coordinate clean, buildable drawing sets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in high‑end residential architecture.
• Strong construction‑documentation and detailing skills with confidence in running approvals.
• Clear, professional communicator able to manage projects independently.
• Hands‑on construction or field experience is a strong plus.
• Comfort with interiors/FF&E coordination; NY license or AIA membership is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Archicad (preferred) or Revit with willingness to learn Archicad.
